Authorities are investigating the cause of a motorcycle crash in Worcester overnight that left the driver seriously injured.
Police say the motorcycle struck the back of a car that was turning onto Belmont Street shortly before 2a.m. on Saturday. The motorcyclists, identified only as a 58-year-old Worcester man, was thrown off the bike before it struck a parked car.
The motorcyclist was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries, according to police.
The cause of the crash remains under investigtion.
