Bail Set for Man Accused in Infant Death

Jessee Mackin's bail was set at $25,000

A Maine judge set bail at $25,000 for a man charged with manslaughter in connection with the death of an infant there last year.

Jessee Mackin, 33, was arrested by police last week, WSCH reports. He is charged with the death of six-month-old Larry Lord Jr., who died at a hospital last year after being brought there by its mother with a fractured skull and traumatic brain injury. Police told WCSH they’d be investigating the case ever since.

The baby’s father, Anthony lord, also faces charges related to the shooting of five people in two northern Maine towns last July.
