Bar Owner Beaten With Pipe, Robbed

Police have released surveillance images of the break-in at Chief's Lounge that occurred just after 5 a.m. Tuesday

Police in Chicopee, Massachusetts, are looking for two men who broke into a city bar in the early morning hours, then beat the owner with a pipe before robbing him.

Police have released surveillance images of the break-in at Chief's Lounge that occurred just after 5 a.m. Tuesday in the hopes that a member of the public will recognizes the suspects.

The men broke into the bar and were in the process of stealing items when the 64-year-old owner confronted them. The owner was beaten and the two men went through his pockets, stealing more items.

The owner was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but has since been released.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
