‘Barbie Dream'-Like Horses Searching for Permanent Home This Holiday Season

'Jack' and 'Rose' are half-sibling Haflinger horses searching for a permanent home and their forever family

A pair of "Barbie Dream"-like horses are hoping to get their holiday wish granted this season by finding their forever family.

"Jack" and "Rose," two 20-year-old Haflinger horses, were surrendered to the MSPCA at Nevins Farm in Methuen, Massachusetts in October after their owner concluded they could no longer care for them. After weeks of treatment and care by animal shelter volunteers, the two half-siblings will stay at MSPCA until a permanent home is found for them.

Animal shelter officials said the dynamic duo enjoy being ridden by advanced beginner-type riders, so they would be a great addition for any equine aficionado. MSPCA at Nevins Farm currently has 15 horses that are all seeking new homes.
