Three pedestrians were struck while in a park in Barre, Vermont, police say.
Trevor Lamson, of Barre, was driving a white Subaru wagon east on Route 302 when the vehicle left the roadway and hit three people in City Hall Park.
The Subaru also struck a granite bench and the park’s war memorial before coming to a rest partially on the sidewalk, on the south side of Church Street, and on top of a small tree.
Initial reports indicate people on scene believe the driver suffered some type of medical event.
Lamson and the three pedestrians were taken by ambulance to Central Vermont Medical Center where all are listed in stable condition.
Police did not provide names or ages of the pedestrians.
There was no further information available on what may have caused the crash. The incident is under investigation.
