A bicyclist has suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by an SUV.
Police say the driver of the SUV struck the bicyclist Sunday afternoon in Townsend, Massachusetts.
The 55-year-old Fitchburg man was taken to a hospital. His injuries are believed to be life-threatening. Police have not yet released his name.
Townsend police and state police continue to investigate.
