Bitter Cold Moves In

Below zero temperatures expected at times

Sunshine is back on Tuesday, but it will be chilly. Temperatures barely climb from morning lows, more or less holding in the teens and 20s.

For the rest of the week temperatures only drop as cold continues to seep out of Canada. Highs will drop a few degrees by Wednesday, and then on Thursday highs will likely only top out in the single digits and teens!

Friday will also feature lots of teens, with overnight temperatures during this time dropping well below zero in some cases.

Our next storm to watch is on Friday. For now, most of that looks to stay offshore, but a separate clipper will then dive towards the coast this upcoming weekend. It may bring some snow to parts of New England. The extent of that snow depends on the exact track.

Even into New Year’s Eve and the first week of 2018 it looks colder than normal with highs in the teens and 20s.
