Man Pleads Not Guilty to Northern Maine Double Murder

A man charged in connection with the deaths of two men in northern Maine has pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Thirty-eight-year-old Bobby Nightingale is being held on murder charges stemming from the killings of 25-year-old Allen Curtis and 51-year-old Roger Ellis in August in Castle Hill. The Bangor Daily News reports he has been ordered held without bail pending a hearing.

Maine State Police found Ellis and Curtis dead in a pickup truck. Nightingale faces eight charges in total and has pleaded not guilty to all of them.

Attorney Steve Smith, who is representing Nightingale, says he believes "a thorough review of the evidence" will result in Nightingale being found not guilty. Nightingale attended his arraignment on Wednesday via a video conference.
