Police are investigating after a body was found in the woods off Interstate 95 in Canton, Massachusetts, on Wednesday afternoon.
The Norfolk District Attorney's Office said a person who had stopped to assist a motorist in distress on I-95 south, just south of the Interstate 93 interchange, noticed what they believed to be human remains a short distance from the highway.
Massachusetts State Police are investigating.
The remains will be transported to the medical examiner's office in Boston, where an autopsy is expected to be conducted Thursday.
No further information was immediately available.
