Vermont police are investigating after a body was found at a trailhead in the town of Hinesburg.
Police say the body was found on Gilman Road late Thursday.
The name of the deceased is not being released pending notification of relatives.
After the body was discovered the scene was secured and investigators are expected back Friday to determine the circumstances of the death.
Gilman Road will be closed to through traffic during the investigation.
Police say they will release more information when it becomes available.
