Body of Homeowner Recovered After Blaze in North Anson, Maine

A man in his 60s perished in an overnight fire in North Anson, according to the Maine Department of Public Safety.

Crews responded to the house fire on North Main Street before dawn, officials said. The blaze swept through the home and authorities recovered the homeowner's body, according to the Maine State Fire Marshal's Office.

Officials did not release the identity of the fire victim. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
