Boston Braves the Snow to Celebrate Christmas

Lindsay Swan drove her car and white knuckled it all the way through the snow to Christmas morning mass in Boston at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross.

"It was nerve-racking," says Swan.

Despite the whiteout conditions on the roads, Valerie Antoine and her volunteers made dozens of home-cooked meals. Delivering each one to the homeless near Downtown Crossing.

"I’m trying to show them the love of God," says Antonie.

In Boston’s Chinatown where pretty much everything is open on Christmas day. The holiday tradition of making cash is alive and well at Windsor Dim Sum Café which is packed.

And when the snow finally stopped falling on Copley Square, the selfies and the snowmen enhanced the festive atmosphere. All signs Boston is enjoying this white Christmas.
