Security Remains Tight for Boston Calling

As the Boston Calling Music Festival kicked off Friday night, concertgoers saw and felt added security first-hand, in the wake of this week's terrorist attacks in England.

If you plan to go to Boston Calling 2018, there will be lots of changes from last year.

According to their website, the festival will return to the Harvard Athletic Complex in Allston May 25-27 after making a series of "enhancements."

Those enhancements include double entrance lanes, a new 20,000 square foot VIP and Platinum lounge, and a new platinum level viewing experience.

Other enhancements include bigger video screens, double the amount of restrooms, more lockers, more bars, and dozens more food vendors.

Boston Magazine reports that previous festivals at the Harvard Athletic Complex and on City Hall Plaze needed kinks worked out after fans complained of long lines to get into the venue and were waiting in long lines to use bathrooms.

The layout of the complex has also been tweaked for a better experience.
