A produce delivery driver from Boston was found dead in his truck while making deliveries in Vermont, authorities confirmed Saturday.
According to Vermont State Police, Roberto Fonseca-Rivera, 44, of Boston -- who worked for the Hyde Park-based company Katsiroubas Produce -- was last seen in his delivery truck leaving Rutland shortly after 12p.m. on Friday. He was headed southbound on Vermont Route 103.
Later that evening, authorities say Fonseca-Rivera's body was found with multiple gunshot wounds inside his truck on Route 103 in Rockingham.
Investigators believe the shooting occurred sometime between 1p.m. and 1:30p.m. on Friday. An autopsy is underway to confirm the cause of death.
