Boston Harbor Cruise Ship Collides With Boats

No injuries were reported

The United States Coast Guard is investigating a collision between a Boston Harbor Cruise ship and three smaller boats in Boston Harbor.

The Coast Guard said Regency was returning to the Long Wharf Pier at 10:30 a.m. with passengers when it suffered a mechanical failure and drifted into the three other ships in the fleet, the Rookie, the Aurora and the Codzilla.

No injuries were reported on any of the boats.

Authorities said the Codzilla will have to be repaired before it resumes transportation of passengers.

The exact cause of the crash is under investigation by the Coast Guard.
