necn and www.necn.com hosted the Boston Harbor Association's Labor Day Weekend Fireworks on September 3, 2016.
We explored the harbor's rich history, celebrated the iconic lighthouse's 300th anniversary and said goodbye to summer while watching a spectacular fireworks show across the night sky.
About 500 man hours went into the production. An estimated 1,200 pounds of explosives were used to set off the 2,500 colorful fireworks.
