Boston Police Arrest Man In Connection With Attack On Airport Officer

Police say Aziz Rehman Osmani was wanted by Metro Washington Airport Police

A man police say left a copy of the Quran on the steps of a state government building in Boston is also wanted in Washington for allegedly making threats at Reagan National Airport and assaulting a police officer.
Aziz Rehman Osmani is scheduled to be arraigned in Boston on Tuesday on a fugitive from justice charge.
Police say the 22-year-old Osmani got into an argument at a jewelry store on Monday after refusing to return jewelry he was inspecting. He left the area and was seen on surveillance video leaving a suspicious package outside the government building. It turned out to be the Muslim holy book.
He was arrested later Monday after allegedly causing a disturbance at a shelter.
It could not immediately be determined if he has a lawyer.
