Boston Police Ask Public to Help Identify Suspect in Sexual Assault

The attack happened early Wednesday morning

Boston Police are asking the public to help them identify a suspect wanted in connection with a sexual assault.

According to the department, the assault occurred early Wednesday morning in the area of Cummins Highway and Rosewood Street in Boston's Hyde Park neighborhood.

Once on scene, officers spoke with the female victim who told the officers she was walking home when the suspect grabbed her, forced her into a secluded area, and sexually assaulted her.

The victim told officers the suspect also demanded money and emptied her wallet.

The suspect then fled into a red motor vehicle.

The victim described the suspect as a black male, about 6'1'' in height, thin build, and wearing a dark green hoodie with the hood covering his face and dark pants.
