    Boston Police Safely Locate Missing Elderly Man

    The Boston Police Department said Sunday night they have safely located 68-year-old Eugene Jones, who they had issued a missing persons alert for earlier in the day.

    The department thanked members of the public, the media and its officers for their efforts which led to Jones being located safely.

    Jones, who has dementia and a history of seizures, had last been seen around 10 p.m. Saturday in the area of 70 Fulton Street in Boston. He was wearing a white shirt, dark gray jeans, and black shoes.

    Jones is described as a black male, who is approximately 5'8" tall.

    Police released footage of a mother who said she accidentally left her 5-month-old in a car for half an hour in a Goodyear, Arizona, parking lot when she, her sister and other daughter went into the store. Officers are heard on camera saying it was about 99 degrees outside.
