Boston Police Fugitive Unit, SWAT Team Arrest Suspect in Fatal Shooting

Julian Troche, 24, of Boston is expected to be arraigned on Thursday

The Boston Police Fugitive Unit and SWAT team officers arrested a suspect Wednesday in connection with a fatal shooting back in June.

Julian Troche, 24, of Boston, was arrested as he was sitting in a vehicle in the area of 63 Burbank Street. He was taken into custody without incident.

Troche was wanted in connection with the murder of 31-year-old Andrew Flonory of Brockton, who was shot and killed on Astoria Street on the evening of June 18. Two other people were injured in shootings that same night in Boston.

Flonory was killed just a couple streets over from where his sister and nephew were shot and killed six years earlier.

"This is a very dangerous individual with a history of violence taken off our streets," Boston Police Commissioner William Evans said. "I hope this arrest brings some level of comfort to the Flonory family."

Troche was scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday morning in Dorchester District Court.
