Mass. Police Investigating Threats Against High Schools

Massachusetts police are investigating threats against numerous high schools Monday.

Boston police confirmed threats against Boston College High School and East Boston High School.

Newton police were on scene at Newton North High School where a shelter in place had been issued. Shortly after, school resumed as nothing suspicious was found.

The Newton superintendent's office confirmed a call came in around 1 p.m., and that a letter will be sent out to parents.

Police in Haverhill confirmed there's a shelter-in-place at the town's high school after a threat was made, and that officials are following procedures.

Brockton Public Schools confirmed there was also a called-in threat to Brockton High School just after noon; however, classes weren't disrupted and no shelter-in-place was activated.
