Missing Woman With Alzheimer's is Found Safe

The missing woman with Alzheimer's has been found after the Boston Police Department asked for the public's help in locating her.

Authorities had been searching Sunday for Vivien Correa, 64, who was last seen around 2 p.m. on Feb. 10 near her home at 940 Parker Street in Jamaica Plain.

Correa was described as Hispanic, about 5'2" tall and weighing around 185 pounds, last seen wearing a purple jacket with a fur-lined hood.

Police had said Correa may not consistently recognize or respond to her name.

While Correa speaks both Spanish and English fluently, authorities said she may be more likely to talk in Spanish if approached by someone.

Officials said Correa is known to hang around in the areas of Egelston Square and 1010 Massachusetts Avenue.

Anyone with information on Correa's whereabouts was urged to call 911 or District E-13 detectives directly at (617) 343-5628.
