A Massachusetts police officer is recovering after being involved in a crash Saturday morning in Boston's Mattapan neighborhood.
Police said the officer's cruiser was struck at about 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Blue Hill Avenue and Norfolk Street.
The officer was transported to an area hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Police are investigating the exact cause of the crash.
