Boston police is asking for the public's help to identify a man in connection with two armed robberies near South Huntington Avenue in Jamaica Plain that occurred just days apart.
Police say the first incident occurred around 8:45p.m. last Tuesday, October 22, and the second occurred shortly before 11p.m. on Saturday.
In both cases, police say the victims were reportedly approached by a man who struck them in the head with either a closed fist or a solid object. In both cases, the suspect allegedly ran away before police arrived.
According to police, one of the victims had to be taken to a nearby hospital for care.
Police described the suspect as a black male between 5 foot 11 inches and 6 foot 2 inches tall.
Police released surveillance video showing the man they believe may be connected to the incidents.
