A Wisconsin man was arrested Wednesday after he was found drinking a beer in a hot tub at a "clothing optional" resort he wasn't authorized to be at.

Dale Shawn Berglund, 38, of West Allis, Wisconsin,  was charged with trespassing after he was found drinking beer and relaxing in a hot tub at the Abbott's Glen resort on Route 112 in Halifax, Vermont shortly after 8 p.m. Wednesday. Abbott's Glen is described on its website as a "clothing-optional inn and campground."

Vermont State Police had responded to a report of trespassing after the property owner found Berglund in the hot tub. Berglund was reportedly trying to sleep in a room at the resort even though the resort was closed at the time and he was not a registered guest.

Berglund was issued a citation and is scheduled to be arraigned on Sept. 16 in Vermont Superior Court in Windham. He was transported to the Southern State Correctional Facility in Springfield, where he was to be held in lieu of bail.
