Bridgeport Man Accused of Trafficking Minors

A grand jury in New Haven has returned an indictment charging a 28-year-old Bridgeport man with two counts of sex trafficking of a minor, according to the U.S. Attorney. 

Jason Prawl, known as “Boots,” pleaded not guilty to the charges.

He is accused of recruiting, harboring and transporting two minors. 

He’s accused of trafficking the first victim in July and August 2015 and the second victim between December 2015 and February 2016, according to the U.S. Attorney. 

Prawl has been in state custody since March 9.
