Brockton officials are asking anyone with information about a car fire on Harvard Street Thursday morning to contact authorities.
Brockton fire officials released video showing the car catch fire. The video, apparently from a security camera, was taken from a distance and provides few details.
The incident was reported at about 5 a.m., according to Brockton fire officials. The suspect lit the car on fire and may have suffered burns to the upper body when the fire erupted. Officials believe the suspect ran through a yard to Dover Street.
