Police and Boston school officials are investigating after a bullet was found near an elementary school on Friday morning.
Authorities said the bullet was found around 9:30 a.m. near the James Condon Elementary School on D Street.
Police were called immediately to investigate.
Officials for Boston Public Schools said no lockdown occurred but police presence was stepped up as a precaution.
No further information was immediately available.
