    Authorities Investigate Burned Bodies in Bangor

    Two bodies were found buring inside a delivery truck in Bangor, Maine.

    A man and a woman found in a burning delivery truck Wednesday night in Maine are homicide victims, police said Thursday.

    Crews responded to the fire involving an unmarked delivery truck at 63 Washington St. in Bangor just before 10 p.m. When the truck was extinguished, firefighters made the gruesome discovery of two dead people inside the vehicle.

    The victims were identified Thursday as 43-year-old Michael Bridges and 36-year-old Desiree York, both of Bangor.

    Authorities are investigating the deaths as homicides.
