Source: Woman Dies, Another Injured After Falling Out of Party Bus in Mass.

The Suffolk County District Attorney's Office is investigating the incident

One woman was killed and another was injured after they fell out of a party bus early Sunday morning in Boston, Massachusetts, according to sources.

Police said the incident happened at about 2 a.m. in the area of McClellan Highway and Addison Street in East Boston.

A source told necn that the two women fell out of a window of the moving party bus and one of them was run over by the wheels. One victim died at the scene. The other victim suffered minor injuries and is expected to survive.

The source told necn the driver of the bus was initially unaware of the incident. The driver however, is cooperating with police.

When necn contacted the bus company, Entourage Livery out of North Attleboro, a representative said that they are working with police on their investigation but wouldn't offer any details about what happened.

The company did release a brief statement offering condolences to the victim's family and friends.

Boston Mayor Marty Walsh said these types of incidents are rare.

"Until we find out what the circumstances are, I'm not going to jump to conclusions that we have start mandating or regulating all these different buses," Walsh said.

The Suffolk County District Attorney's Office is investigating the incident. All they have said so far is that they don't believe the driver was intoxicated.
