Firefighters battled a 2-alarm blaze at a well-known restaurant in Cambridge's Harvard Square on Tuesday morning.
A huge response was reported at Toscano, an Italian restaurant at 52 Brattle St., with eight engines, five ladder trucks and multiple command vehicles.
The fire started around 10:30 a.m. and was knocked down within about 30 minutes. The blaze reportedly started on the first floor and then extended to the upper floors of the 3-story building.
No one was injured.
It's unclear how the fire started.
Some streets in the area remain closed.
