Family and friends of a Massachusetts woman who was killed in a Brockton crash caused by an allegedly impaired driver gathered Saturday night to remember the mother-of-two.

Deborah Combra, 58, of Bridgewater, died from her injuries on Tuesday when she was hit from behind by 32-year-old Danielle Mastro, say police. The impact caused Combra's SUV to spin out of control and hit a dump truck, which rolled over.

Investigators are saying that Maestro was high and had several alcoholic drinks before the crash. According to court records, she had been on the phone with her drug dealer, claiming that she was 'dope sick.'

Court documents also reveal Mastro's mother had called police after she had allegedly taken her mother's car, which resulted in Mastro trying to elude officers before the fatal crash.

Several others, including Combra's passenger, were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Days later, Manny Combra, the victims husband, says the pain of losing his wife is not letting up, "There's no words to describe how my heart and everything feels," he said.

The family said Combra was getting ready for her son's upcoming wedding on the vineyard and was eyeing retirement in a few years.

They said they hope the vigil will send a message that they want justice for a life cut short.
