Police responded to a fatal canoe accident late Saturday night and found the body of a missing canoeist near the shoreline.
A 23-year-old Boston man wet canoeing by himself around 7p.m. on Saturday and never returned.
"This is a tragic ending to a holiday weekend adventure," Police Chief Matthew King said. "Our thoughts and prayers are with the families involved, and we ask everyone to remain extra vigilant as their weekend continues."
