An ambulance transporting a shooting victim to a Boston area hospital collided with a car shortly after midnight on Saturday.
The ambulance had been dispatched to a reported shooting on Norfolk Street in Boston. It was leaving the scene when it crashed at the instersection of Harvard and Morton Streets.
The driver of the car involved in the collision was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The first responders and patient inside in the ambulance were also taken to a nearby hospital and are in stable condition, according to Boston Emergency Medical Services.
