A driver under the influence of alcohol drove her car into the Contoocook River in Penacook, New Hampshire, on Thursday night.
According to the Concord Police Department, officers responded to the intersection of Fowler Street and Washington Street for a report of a car into the river.
The driver was unharmed but it was clear to officers she was under the influence of alcohol.
She was identified as Ashley L. Gordon, age 31, of Concord, New Hampshire, and was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.
Gordon was processed and released on $4,000 personal recognizance bail and will be arraigned at Concord District Court on August 22.
