Mass. Gov. Baker Says He Spoke With President-Elect Trump

Massachusetts' governor reportedly extended an olive branch to President-elect Donald Trump before the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

Charlie Baker told WGBH that he spoke with fellow Republican Trump for about four or five minutes on a "social call" last week, congratulating him on his victory, wishing him and his family a happy Thanksgiving and offering assistance "if appropriate."

Baker did not endorse Trump during the contentious election and left his ballot blank.
