Child Sex Suspect Arrested as Fugitive

MBTA Transit Police in Boston arrested a suspect in a New Hampshire child sex assault as a fugitive.

Officers say 21-year-old Andrew Pike of Manchester was loitering outside the Downtown Crossing station Tuesday morning. When they asked who he was, police say he gave a fake name and age.

When police discovered who Pike was, they found that he was wanted by the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Department in his home state for "fondling" a child.

Having crossed state lines, Pike was charged as a fugitive from justice.
