Familiar theme playing out across New England Monday since showers will be on the move. While the early morning may stay dry, the late morning and early afternoon see a return to the wet weather.
This isn’t a humongous, strong storm, however. For that reason, we won’t be seeing a ton of water like in past storms. This one does feature a late-day warmup that should nudge the mercury toward 60 in many spots. A nice bump in the temps after a cool fall weekend.
The second half of the week is trending down in the temperature department. This slide is courtesy of a strong, upper-low capturing some of the coldest air of the season circulating around Hudson Bay.
Prepare for a chilly Thursday that will see the mercury struggle to make it to 50 degrees in many spots. This may also spell multiple frosts – or even freezes - in the suburbs by week’s end, spelling an end to the growing season.
