Curtis Blake, co-founder of Massachusetts-based Friendly's Ice Cream, is celebrating his 100th birthday Saturday.
Blake founded the ice cream and restaurant brand with his older brother Prestley in Springfield in 1935, during the Great Depression.
Prestley will turn 103 on November 26.
