College Football Coach Arrested for Domestic Assault

Charles Denune was arrested Sunday night

Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts is looking into domestic assault charges brought against their head football coach.

Charles Denune was arrested Sunday night.

According to court records, he was arguing with a woman about picking up a car from a mechanic.

Police say he grabbed her twice and ripped her t-shirt.

The victim did not want Denune arrested.

In a statement, Bridgewater State University says, “The university is just learning of the charges brought against Charles Denune, head football coach and assistant director of the fitness center. As a result, the university is reviewing the matter and if necessary, will take appropriate actions as quickly as possible.”
