    What to Know

    • Comm Avenue Bridge has reopened today allowing all lanes of traffic to flow during peak hours

    • Full MBTA Green Line B service was restored on Friday

    • Some minor construction to be completed during off-peak hours

Commuters can expect life to get back to normal as the Commonwealth Avenue and BU bridges officially reopened today to all lanes of traffic.

Drivers dealt with restricted lanes as officials worked quickly to reconstruct the bridge these past two weeks. Service along the MBTA Green Line B branch, between Blandford and Babcock streets, was also interrupted by construction. Trolley service was restored on Friday. Service was restored ahead of schedule.

Although the bridge has been reopened, there may be sporadic delays during non-peak times as crews finish minor projects, including paving sidewalks and adding pavement markers.
