A Connecticut couple scored a touchdown with their wedding invitation, catching the attention of the New England Patriots.
Jessica Dempsey and Scott Julian, of Thompson, sent out a save the date card for their Oct. 24, 2015 wedding with the heading "Let's Party" on a picture of Bill Belichick with a deadpan expression on his face that is typical of the Patriots coach.
The Patriots shared a photo of the wedding invite on Twitter, tweeting out the photo and "Best wedding 'Save the Date' ever. #LetsParty #OnToTheWedding."
That Tweet has garnered the attention of Patriots Nation, generating thousands of retweets.
