Man Dies After Being Hit by Vehicle in Concord, Mass.

A man died after being struck by a commercial vehicle in Concord, Massachusetts on Monday.

The Middlesex District Attorney said an adult male pedestrian was struck by a 2016 Ford Utility pickup truck around 12:22 p.m. at the intersection of Independence and Alcott roads.

Comcast released a statement following the crash:

"Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. Moody's family and friends. Because this is an active and ongoing investigation we are referring any further questions to local authorities," read the statement.

State and local police are both investigating the incident.
