Construction Worker's Crushing Death Remains Under Investigation

Authorities are continuing to investigate Wednesday after a construction worker was crushed to death by a boulder near a building in Massachusetts.

Mark Camire, 32, had been working Tuesday at Woburn Public Library, which is undergoing a renovation. He was pinned under a piece of rock that broke free.

Camire was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim worked for the Schnabel Foundation Company, a subcontractor for W.L. French Excavating, which had been working to renovate the library.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration and state police are investigating.
