Held without bail, 20-year-old Ahmad Ali of Worcester is accused of sexually assaulting a customer at the Webster convenience store where he works.
"All I was thinking is he's going to drag me in the back room because nobody was in the store," said the woman who is accusing Ali of sexual assault.
The woman, who did not want to show her face or use her name, said she was at Gilbert's Market on Sunday buying lottery tickets for her birthday when Ali motioned for her to come closer and gave her an envelope with more scratch tickets.
"And said happy birthday and gave me a hug," she said. "I gave him a half a hug and went to turn my back to go out the door and he grabbed both my arms and put them behind me, held them, like really, really, really tight."
She said the assault didn't end there.
"He grabbed me and rubbed himself up against me and he said, 'Can you feel that? Can you feel that?' And then made a sexual comment," she said.
The alleged victim screamed and got away, reporting what happened to police.

Ali's family says they don't believe he would do something like this.
The suspect's brother Ali Raza said, "My brother did no wrong, my brother is a nice guy."
But Webster Police say surveillance video from Gilbert's Market not only backs up the woman's story, but it wasn't the first time Ali was accused of sexually assaulting a customer.
She said, "The same thing that the girl had said that he did to her was also done to me as well."
This woman, who didn't want to use her name, said Ali would take photos of her without her knowledge, once even waiting for a customer to leave the store before allegedly cornering her.
"Once the man left he then like went over to me and grabbed me by the arm and tried to give me a hug but I pushed him away," she said.
