Robert Kraft's arraignment on charges that he solicited a prostitute has been moved up by nearly a month.

It was originally requested that Kraft appear in a Florida courtroom on April 24, but court documents reveal his new court date is set for March 27 at 8:30 a.m.

His new arraignment date is during the annual NFL meeting, which Kraft is expected to attend. It's unlikely that the New England Patriots owner will appear in person for his court date, as an attorney can attend on his behalf.

The 77-year-old Brookline, Massachusetts, resident has been charged with two counts of soliciting another to commit prostitution -- a misdemeanor -- after he was allegedly caught on videotape engaging in sex acts at an illicit massage parlor.

Authorities say Robert Kraft solicited prostitution on day of AFC Championship Game.

According to court documents released Monday, prosecutors allege that Kraft sought out sex acts with a prostitute at the Orchids of Asia Day Spa twice the weekend of the AFC Championship Game.

He has not been arrested in connection with the allegations and has denied the charges.

Although prosecutors said he faces up to a year in jail, legal experts tell NBC10 Boston that Kraft is unlikely to land behind bars, but may face some other legal problems and issues regarding his legacy.

In addition to Kraft, at least eight other men from New England were also arrested in connection to the Florida sting.
