Fire crews responded to a fully-engulfed vehicle on the northbound side of I-495 in Andover, Massachusetts.
The car came to a halt Tuesday morning about a mile south from I-93. Significant delays are beginning in the area but officials are allowing commuters to travel on the far left lane of the interstate as they battle the flames.
Details on what caused the vehicle to engulf in flames were not immediately available. The driver's condition was not made immediately clear.
