The Rhode Island State Police announced that the criminal investigation into Pawtucket Police Major Bruce Moreau determined that there is no probable cause to support a criminal violation.
In December 2014, the Rhode Island State Police began investigating allegations that Major Moreau had obtained money under false pretenses. The Hummel Report alleged that Moreau was playing golf, spending the day at home,or handling other personal matters while on City time.
The report has given to the Pawkucket Police Department for an internal investigation.
