A body was recovered Saturday in Bedford, Massachusetts, according to the Middlesex County District Attorney's office and the Bedford police.
The body, which was found near the Carlisle Street boat ramp on the Concord River, was reportedly transported to the medical examiner's office.
Police responded to the scene around 11:00 am after a local Boy Scout troop reported seeing something along the embankment where they were picking up trash.
The body is yet to be identified but, according to authorities, its death is being treated as suspicious.
