A woman has been arrested for DUI after police say she slammed into a tractor trailer truck, which then rolled over onto a Rhode Island State Police cruiser on I-95 in Providence.

Twenty-two-year-old Lauren Woodbridge of Cranston was arrested after troopers responded to the crash around 2:40 a.m. Friday. Police say Woodbridge hit the back of a construction truck before hitting the tractor trailer, which then veered to the right and overturned onto the cruiser.

The trooper in the cruiser and Woodbridge were transported to Rhode Island Hospital. There injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Woodbridge is charged with driving under the influence and driving to endanger, resulting in physical injury. If convicted of both charges, she could face up to three years in prison, a suspension of her license, a $500 fine and community service.
